    12" Deulen  Sharpening Jig
    for Jointer / Planer Knives
    Sharpening Instructions:
    Step 1:
    Put one knife in each of the two brass slots & tighten the set screws (just snug) on the corners first, ensuring that the knives are down all the way in the slot. Then tighten the rest of the screws. Don't over-tighten!
    Step 2:
    On a flat surface covered with adhesive sandpaper (see our other ads to purchase this!), draw the knives back & forth with even strokes using mild pressure. When the edge gets shiny, move up to finer grits of sandpaper until the desired edge is achieved.
    As shown in the photos, it sharpens just the edge, making a stronger, sharper, micro-bevel edge for better performance.
    It comes with an Allen Wrench for tightening the set screws & also a clear storage tube for protection against humidity.
