The Detex Alarm Panel key is used to remove the cover from Detex ECL-230D units so that the battery can be changed or to allow removal of the cover to service the unit.

In the event we ship out "mis-cut" keys, we will either refund your money paid for the item, or re-ship your order. We do ask that you perform basic troubleshooting with us prior to the refund or replacement. Many times, when a key does not work, the problem can be solved by simply lubricating the lock with an approved lubricant. Our Key Guarantee does not apply in situations where the lock is causing the issue. Most of the time basic quick troubleshooting will determine the issue.
